Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 13 September 2026 | parikshapatra.in

📅 Effective Date: 13 September 2026  |  Please read these terms carefully before using ParikshaPatra (parikshapatra.in).

Please read these Terms carefully before using ParikshaPatra. They form a binding agreement between you and ParikshaPatra.

1. Who you are contracting with

ParikshaPatra (the "Service") — comprising the ParikshaPatra mobile applications and the website at parikshapatra.in — is owned and operated by:

ParikshaPatra
Operated from India
Email: info@parikshapatra.in

In these Terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean ParikshaPatra. "You" means the person using the Service.

2. Acceptance of these Terms

By creating an account, downloading the app, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms, to our Privacy Policy, and to our Refund and Cancellation Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

These Terms apply to everyone — visitors, registered users on the Free Plan, and paying subscribers.

3. Eligibility and age

  • You must be at least 18 years old to enter into this agreement on your own behalf.
  • If you are under 18, you may use the Service only if your parent or lawful guardian consents to these Terms on your behalf and accepts them for you. Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, a person under 18 is a child, and we require verifiable consent from a parent or guardian before processing their data. See Section 12 of our Privacy Policy for how that verification works.
  • You must provide accurate registration details and keep them current.

4. What the Service provides

ParikshaPatra is an exam preparation platform. Depending on your plan, it offers:

  • Previous year question papers for competitive examinations
  • AI-generated practice tests
  • Solutions and explanations
  • Performance analytics and progress tracking
  • Current affairs content
  • The ability to change your selected exam

Content is provided for practice and self-study only. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting for any examination authority, recruitment board, university or government body. Always confirm syllabus, eligibility, dates and official information directly from the relevant examination authority.

5. Plans and what each includes

ParikshaPatra offers three plans. These are the only plans we offer, and there are no yearly plans.

PlanPrice (INR)Included
Free₹0View papers, AI tests, view solutions, change exam, 6-month current affairs
Plus₹99View papers, AI tests, view solutions, detailed analytics, change exam, 6-month current affairs
Pro₹299View papers, AI tests, view solutions, detailed analytics, change exam, full current affairs archive

Prices are in Indian Rupees. The exact term of a paid plan is shown to you on the checkout screen before you pay.

We may change plan names, prices or included features. Changes apply to new purchases and to renewals; they do not shorten or reduce a plan you have already paid for. Where we withdraw a feature you paid for and cannot offer a comparable replacement, contact us and we will consider a pro-rata adjustment.

6. Payments

How you pay depends on the platform you buy from.

  • Website and Android app — payments are processed by Razorpay. You may pay by card, UPI, net banking or wallet. We never receive or store your card number, UPI PIN or banking credentials.
  • iOS app — where a plan is offered for purchase inside the iOS app, it is sold as an Apple In-App Purchase and processed by Apple under your Apple Account. Apple's terms and Apple's Media Services agreement govern that transaction.
By purchasing a plan you authorise the applicable amount to be charged. Prices shown are in Indian Rupees. We are not registered under GST, so no GST is charged on your purchase and the price you see at checkout is the total amount payable.

Paid plans are sold for a fixed term shown at checkout and do not auto-renew. When the term ends, your account reverts to the Free Plan and you keep access to Free Plan features. To continue on a paid plan, purchase it again. If in future we introduce auto-renewing subscriptions, we will tell you clearly before you buy and you will be able to turn renewal off.

If a payment is debited from your account but your plan is not activated, contact us with the transaction reference and we will resolve it as a priority — see the Refund and Cancellation Policy.

7. Advertisements and rewarded ads

The mobile app may show rewarded advertisements supplied by Google AdMob, which you can choose to watch to unlock access to a paper. Rewarded ads are currently served on iOS only; advertising is disabled in the current Android version.

Watching ads is always optional and is never required to use the app. We are not responsible for the content of third-party advertisements or for anything an advertiser offers, sells or claims. Any dealing you have with an advertiser is between you and them. If an ad fails to load or fails to grant the reward, the remedy is to try again or contact support; ad availability is not guaranteed and no refund arises from ads being unavailable.

8. Apple App Store — additional terms

This section applies where you obtained the app from the Apple App Store, and it prevails over anything inconsistent elsewhere in these Terms:

  • Apple is not a party to this agreement. These Terms are between you and ParikshaPatra only. Apple has no obligation whatsoever to furnish any maintenance or support for the app.
  • Support and complaints come to us. If you have any question or complaint about the app, contact us at info@parikshapatra.in. Apple has no responsibility to address it.
  • Refunds for iOS purchases are handled by Apple, not by us. See Section 5 of the Refund and Cancellation Policy.
  • Warranty. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple gives no warranty for the app. If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple may refund the purchase price; beyond that, Apple has no other warranty obligation of any kind.
  • Product claims. We, not Apple, are responsible for addressing any claim relating to the app, including product liability claims, any claim that the app fails to conform to a legal or regulatory requirement, and claims arising under consumer protection or privacy law.
  • Intellectual property claims. We, not Apple, are responsible for the investigation, defence, settlement and discharge of any third-party claim that the app or your use of it infringes that party's intellectual property rights.
  • Legal compliance. You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a United States Government embargo or designated as a terrorist-supporting country, and that you are not on any US Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
  • Third-party beneficiary. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this section and may enforce it against you.
  • You must comply with any applicable third-party terms of agreement when using the app, including your wireless data plan terms.

9. Google Play

Where you obtained the app from Google Play, your use is also subject to the Google Play Terms of Service. Google is not a party to this agreement. Refunds for purchases made through Razorpay on Android are handled by us as set out in the Refund and Cancellation Policy.

10. Your account

You are responsible for your account and everything done under it. You agree to:

  • Keep your login credentials confidential and not share them
  • Not allow others to use your account, and not use one account across multiple people
  • Tell us promptly at info@parikshapatra.in if you suspect unauthorised access
  • Not create multiple accounts to obtain repeated free benefits or to evade a suspension

You can delete your account at any time from Profile > Account & Policies > Delete Account in the app. See the Account and Data Deletion page for what happens when you do.

We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these Terms. Where practicable we will tell you why and give you a chance to respond, except where the breach is serious, unlawful, or where telling you first would defeat the purpose of the suspension.

11. Refunds

Refund rights depend on where you bought your plan. In summary: purchases made on the web or Android through Razorpay are refundable by us within the window set out in the Refund and Cancellation Policy; purchases made inside the iOS app are refundable only by Apple. Full details, including how to request each, are in the Refund and Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

12. Intellectual property and your licence

The Service and its contents — including our compilations of question papers, generated tests, solutions, explanations, analytics, interface design, text, graphics, logos and software — are owned by us or licensed to us, and are protected by Indian and international intellectual property law. Question papers issued by examination authorities remain the property of those authorities; our rights subsist in our selection, arrangement, digitisation, tagging and accompanying material.

We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Service for your own exam preparation. You may not:

  • Copy, republish, distribute, sell, sublicense or make our content publicly available
  • Use the content for commercial purposes, including coaching, tuition or resale
  • Scrape, crawl, harvest or bulk-download content, or use bots or automated tools against the Service
  • Circumvent access controls, paywalls or rate limits, or attempt to obtain paid content without paying
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile or disassemble the app except to the extent that restriction is unenforceable under applicable law
  • Remove or obscure any copyright, trade mark or proprietary notice

You keep ownership of anything you submit. By submitting content to the Service (such as feedback or a support message) you grant us a licence to use it to operate and improve the Service.

13. Prohibited conduct

You must not do any of the following. We may remove content and restrict or terminate access where we reasonably believe this section has been breached.
  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in breach of any applicable law
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service, other users' accounts, or our systems
  • Interfere with, overload, or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
  • Upload or transmit malware, or anything designed to damage or impair the Service
  • Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with anyone
  • Submit content that is defamatory, obscene, harassing, hateful, misleading, or that infringes another person's rights
  • Manipulate rewarded advertising, including using automated means to trigger ad rewards

14. Availability and changes to the Service

We aim to keep the Service available but do not promise uninterrupted access. The Service may be unavailable during maintenance, updates, or because of events outside our control. We may add, change, suspend or discontinue features. Where we discontinue a paid feature materially, Section 5 applies.

15. Disclaimers

To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

We do not warrant that:

  • The Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free
  • Exam content, solutions, explanations or AI-generated tests are accurate, complete, current or free from error
  • Using the Service will improve your results or cause you to pass any examination
AI-generated tests and explanations may contain mistakes. Treat them as practice material, not as authoritative answers. Verify anything important against official sources and prescribed textbooks.

Nothing in these Terms excludes any right or guarantee you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or any other law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

16. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive loss, or for loss of data, loss of profit, loss of opportunity, or examination results, however arising.
  • Our total aggregate liability to you for all claims connected with the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the total amount you paid us in the 3 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) ₹1,000.

These limits do not apply to liability that cannot be limited under Indian law, including liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, or death or personal injury caused by negligence.

17. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against claims, losses and reasonable costs arising from your breach of these Terms, your unlawful use of the Service, or your infringement of a third party's rights.

18. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Jaipur, Rajasthan have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service, and you and we submit to that jurisdiction.

Before starting proceedings, please raise the matter with us at info@parikshapatra.in — most issues are resolved that way.

19. Grievance Officer

In accordance with the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021:

Grievance Officer, ParikshaPatra
Email: info@parikshapatra.in (subject line: "Grievance")

Grievances are acknowledged within 24 hours on a business day and resolved within 15 days of receipt.

20. Changes to these Terms

We may amend these Terms. For material changes we will give notice by email to your registered address or by an in-app notice before they take effect, where we reasonably can. Continued use after the effective date of a change means you accept it. If you do not accept a change, stop using the Service and delete your account.

21. General

  • Severability. If a provision is held unenforceable, the rest remains in force.
  • No waiver. If we do not enforce a right immediately, we do not waive it.
  • Assignment. You may not assign these Terms. We may assign them to a successor of our business, on notice to you.
  • Entire agreement. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, the Refund and Cancellation Policy and the Account and Data Deletion page, are the entire agreement between us regarding the Service.
